Manchester United are all set to reignite their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane amid interest from Real Madrid.
According to Daily Telegraph, Manchester United are ready to once again push for the services of Harry Kane. The 29-year-old striker is amongst the best in the world and has been on the radar of multiple clubs, including Real Madrid for the past few seasons.
Kane has been at Tottenham since his childhood days. The England international has come up the ranks at the club and established himself as one of the world’s best forwards. The 29-year-old was initially subject to loan moves. But post the summer of 2013, he started to get regular game time and slowly established himself as an important figure in their first team.
He went from strength to strength with each passing season. Currently, Kane is the most prized possession of Tottenham but he could be on his way out in the summer. While Spurs have stood in his way in the past, the situation is a touch complicated this time.
His contract runs out in the summer of 2024. So if they do not cash in on him in the upcoming transfer window then they could lose out on him for free in the following summer. Meanwhile, Manchester United have reignited their interest in the England international. They are looking to sign a world-class forward ahead of next season and Kane is a priority target for them.
Manchester United have had a decent season so far. But for them to take the next step, they need to add a bit more quality to their ranks. And, the arrival of the England international could do wonders. However, it won’t be easy to prise him away from Spurs.
His signing will demand a huge transfer fee, and given the Red Devils’ recent spending, they might have to rely on sales to push for his services. Meanwhile, Real Madrid are also keen on having the 29-year-old. With Karim Benzema leaving the club, they are in desperate need of a new forward and could push for the Tottenham striker.

Benzema’s absence will leave a huge void that can only be filled by someone who can score around 30 goals a season and Kane perfectly fits the bill having scored 32 in the 2022/23 season. Even their manager Carlo Ancelotti has said that they will push for strikers in the summer.
