The Merseyside club have struggled in the ongoing season.  And, their priority is to rebuild their midfield ahead of next season. A few of their senior players are all set to part ways with the club after the end of the season. And post that, they will enter the market in search of multiple players who can bolster their midfield.

While Liverpool’s priority is to push for the signature of Alexis Mac Allister, they are also looking at other possibilities. The Merseyside club would love to close the signing of Mac Allister before shifting their focus towards someone like Tijjani Reijnders.

While the 24-year-old is on their radar, he is not the top priority, with Orkun Kokcu also on their radar. He has an impressive record and would be a great fit for Liverpool. However, with four years still left on his contract, it won’t be easy to prise him away from the Dutch club.
