Liverpool are keen on having 20-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch in their ranks ahead of next season.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool are looking to acquire the services of Ryan Gravenberch ahead of next season. The 20-year-old midfielder has not had the best of times since joining Bayern Munich, and he might for a move away from the club.
Meanwhile, the Merseyside club are keen on bolstering their midfield after a disappointing season. They are looking to sign multiple midfielders in the summer. And, the Dutch international is a priority for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Gravenberch came through the ranks at Ajax and became an integral part of their first team. His performances attracted the attention of the German giants who signed him ahead of the ongoing season. It was a highly-anticipated move that saw the 20-year-old join Bayern Munich.
However, he hasn’t had the desired impact. In reality, the Dutch international hasn’t had much game time. And, the limited game time has left him frustrated. The Dutch international has been involved in 29 matches but has been on the pitch for under 800 minutes. In his 20 league appearances, the 20-year-old has accumulated a total of just 378 minutes.
If Bayern cannot promise him a bigger role, Gravenberch will push for a move away from the club. Meanwhile, Liverpool are closely monitoring the 20-year-old. Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the player and would love to have him in their ranks.
The Merseyside club have struggled in the ongoing season. They have failed to deliver and a lot of it has been because of an inconsistent midfield. And Klopp is keen on a complete overhaul in the centre of the park.
