Bayern Munich will reportedly look to secure a summer move for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, whose market value is €60 million.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Ousmane Dembele is the subject of interest from Bayern Munich. Thomas Tuchel is keen on signing the Barcelona winger in the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, the player has a market value of €60 million.
Ousmane Dembele has found a new lease on life since Xavi Hernandez took charge of the Barcelona first team. The French international blew hot and cold under every other manager while showing spurts of his immense potential. But he has become a pivotal figure and justified the hype surrounding him when he replaced Neymar in 2017.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a solid 2022/23 season thus far, amassing eight goals and seven assists in 28 appearances. Meanwhile, Dembele’s market value has zoomed to €60 million. And the player’s progress has not gone unnoticed, with several high-profile clubs, including Bayern Munich, interested in him.
At Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel is a keen admirer of Dembele’s talents. The German tactician also attempted to sign the Barcelona winger during his stint at Chelsea. But a move could never materialise back then. And Tuchel has now returned to the scene, looking to launch the offensive this summer.
Bayern Munich might sell at least one of Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, and Kingsley Coman. Interestingly, all three players are the subjects of interest from Real Madrid. Meanwhile, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is a viable target for Bayern Munich as Tuchel looks to stamp his authority at the Allianz Arena.
But signing the French international will not be straightforward, with Barcelona uninterested in selling him. Recent reports have also claimed that the Catalan giants want to tie Dembele to a new long-term contract. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old might be available for less than his market value of €60 million.

Dembele is also a target for several Premier League clubs, with Chelsea and Manchester United interested. However, it will be interesting to see if Bayern Munich can turn the Frenchman’s head and bring him back to the Bundesliga. For now, the Barcelona winger has emerged as a target for Tuchel.
