h3 style=”text-align: justify;”>Borussia Dortmund will reportedly ask Real Madrid to include Eduardo Camavinga in the deal for Jude Bellingham, a target for Liverpool.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Real Madrid will need to include 20-year-old French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga to sweeten the deal involving Jude Bellingham. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is also a top target for Liverpool.
Jude Bellingham has become a hot property since turning professional as a 16-year-old. After a stunning season with Birmingham City FC, he joined Borussia Dortmund in 2020. And the English international has not looked back since then, establishing himself as one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga.
On the other hand, Eduardo Camavinga is also one of the best young midfielders in Europe. The Frenchman rose to prominence at Stade Rennais before becoming a sought-after figure in the market. And Real Madrid beat intense competition to sign the 20-year-old last year.
Camavinga is not an undisputed first-choice midfielder for Real Madrid yet. But the youngster will likely make one of the three midfield positions his own once Toni Kroos and Luka Modric retire. And with the 20-year-old featuring regularly for Real Madrid, Los Blancos will unlikely look to part ways with him.
The reigning La Liga champions are yet to enjoy the best of Camavinga. And after investing heavily in the French international, Real Madrid will not entertain the idea of including him in a deal for Bellingham. But with Liverpool also keen on signing the English international, Real Madrid will need to think of a solution.
Liverpool will look to bring in Bellingham to galvanise an ageing and underperforming midfield unit. And recent reports have claimed that the Borussia Dortmund midfielder wants to join the Reds. And with Real Madrid unwilling to include Camavinga in a part-exchange deal, they will need to break the bank for Bellingham.
Recent reports have suggested that the Merengues have fallen behind Liverpool in the race to sign the Englishman. So it will be interesting to see which ploy Real Madrid will use to bring Bellingham to the Bernabeu. For now, Liverpool might sign the teenage prodigy next year.
