Manchester United will look to improve their midfield considerably in the upcoming windows.

According to a report from Fichajes, Manchester United are looking to sign Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona, and Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, to strengthen their midfield.

The report further states that the Red Devils could spend around €200 million combined on both players.

De Jong was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United at the start of the season. There were rumors that the Premier League club managed to agree on a fee with Barcelona as well but the player decided to turn down the move and stay at the Spanish club.

It seems that Manchester United have not given up on the Dutch international midfielder and they are prepared to return for him in the summer.

De Jong is undoubtedly one of the best central midfielders in European football, and he could prove to be an excellent signing for Manchester United.

Manager Erik ten Hag will know all about the player having worked with him at Ajax. It will be interesting to see if he can convince the 25-year-old to move to Old Trafford in the coming months.

Apparently, the Dutchman is Manchester United’s main midfield target ahead of the summer transfer window. Barcelona have had their fair share of financial problems in recent seasons, and they could look to sell De Jong if a lucrative offer comes in.

On the other hand, Jude Bellingham would be a quality long-term signing for the Red Devils if they manage to pull it off.

The 19-year-old central midfield has been exceptional for England in the World Cup and he has a big future ahead of him.

The player has been linked with Premier League rivals Liverpool as well, and it will be interesting to see if Manchester United can beat their bitter rivals to his signature.

Bellingham deserves to play at a higher level next season, and moving to the Premier League would be ideal for him.

Manchester United certainly have the resources to pull off both transfers and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
