Newcastle United could part ways with Eddie Howe following what has been a poor start to the season for the club. .

As per Football Insider, Newcastle are ready to offload Jamaal Lascelles and will try to cash in on the player. Lascelles has fallen down the pecking order this season and will enter the final year of his deal next summer.

The former Bournemouth manager has been given the licence to attract his kind of players and the outcome has been pretty fascinating as they have breached the top four with some exciting results in their bag.

The journey of being a title contender from relegations strugglers has not been easy and the manager has had to take some cruel but effective decisions and shunning Lascelles out was one of them.

The 28-year-old’s only start coincided with Newcastle’s only defeat which came against Liverpool and it might have played a role in keeping him out of the starting lineup.

The Magpies brought in Sven Botman this summer and the Dutch defender has found a way to shake up things in the middle of the defence. He has formed a formidable partnership with Fabian Schar which has been the bedrock of their airtight defence.
