Intermediaries have reportedly alerted Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United that Pedro Neto might be available this summer.
According to a report by 90 min, intermediaries have contacted several Premier League clubs to make them aware of Pedro Neto’s possible availability in the ongoing transfer window. Some of these teams are Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, who might look to approach the 22-year-old Portuguese attacker.
Pedro Neto has found a stable footing since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers from SC Braga in August 2019. The player had raised eyebrows during his youth career but had to wait until his move to England to finally go from strength to strength in professional football. And a long-term knee injury has not deterred him either.
The 22-year-old has been the most eye-catching player for Wolves in the early days of the 2022/23 season, even though goals have come at a premium in the first two games. But the Portuguese attacker might depart from the Molineux this summer in the wake of heavy spending from the Black Country outfit, with intermediaries sounding out Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United over his availability.
Arsenal and Manchester United have already shown interest in Neto, with both clubs scouring the market for a wide attacker. While the 22-year-old has flourished on the left flank in the first couple of games this season, he is equally adept at playing from the right wing, making him a viable target for Arsenal and Manchester United.
While the Gunners are reportedly targeting the Portuguese attacker as a possible replacement for Nicolas Pepe, the Red Devils want to sign him as a long-sought solution to the right-wing woes. But Arsenal and Manchester United might also have to compete with Chelsea to secure the services of Neto.
Chelsea might lose Christian Pulisic this summer, with the USMNT attracting interest from several clubs, including Manchester United, Newcastle United and others. And Neto could be a viable target for Chelsea if the Blues decided to launch the offensive for him.
It is still unclear if Wolverhampton Wanderers will look to cash in on Pedro Neto before the summer transfer window shuts down. If the 22-year-old appears on the transfer list, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United might be in the equation to secure his services.
