West Ham United are reportedly interested in Adama Traore, as Wolves are open to offloading the winger for £10 million.
According to Express and Star, West Ham United could register their interest in wantaway winger Adama Traore. He could be allowed to leave Wolves if suitors are willing to pay £10 million for his signature.
Adama Traore was primed for a massive career in football and showed signs of reaching the promised level. At one stage, he was a regular feature in the Wolves side under Nuno Espirito Santo and got regular call-ups to the Spanish national team, but things have changed drastically since then.
Last season he was a bit part player under Bruno Lage and had not been regularly called up by Luis Enrique. Wolves sent him on loan to Barcelona in January with an option to purchase, but the Blaugrana decided against paying the £29 million to sign him permanently.
Barcelona have since signed Raphinha from Leeds United, with Traore now back at Wolves and not part of the manager’s plans at the Molineux. As things stand, plenty of Premier League clubs are keen on the winger, with Wolves happy to sell him.
West Ham United are reportedly interested in the winger, as David Moyes eyes attacking talents to shore up his options for next season. The Hammers are looking to bolster their ranks in the final third of the pitch, with several players being looked at.
Jesse Lingard is one of the primary targets, although his substantial salary demands could scupper any potential deal. Moyes is also looking at a new striker and a wide attacker to provide cover and competition to current stars.
Traore’s name has emerged as a target, and Moyes could consider making a bid for the Spanish attacker. Wolves reportedly want £10 million for the winger, which could be a viable price for the Hammers to consider.
For now, Traore is recovering from a hamstring problem that has not allowed him to train with the main group. The issue is not considered severe, and suitors will likely begin enquiries over a transfer soon. He could be a good option for the Hammers and could stand to get plenty of game time under Moyes.
