Premier League heavyweights Arsenal have reportedly submitted an offer worth €40 million offer to sign Marco Asensio from Real Madrid this summer.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Arsenal and AC Milan are stepping up their efforts to secure the services of Marco Asensio in the summer transfer window. The Gunners have lodged an offer worth €40 million for the 26-year-old Real Madrid forward, with the Serie A champions bidding €30 million.
Marco Asensio seems to be getting closer to the exit door at Real Madrid with every passing day, with his future shrouded in uncertainty. Real Madrid will not offer the Spaniard a new contract. And with his deal running out in twelve months, Asensio might choose to call it quits at the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer transfer window.
That is ridiculous, considering he ended 2021/22 as Real Madrid’s third-highest goalscorer, raking in 12 goals in 42 appearances across all competition. But Asensio’s delicate contract situation means clubs across Europe fancy the prospect of signing him in the summer transfer window, with Arsenal one of his prospective suitors.

At the same time, Arsenal will need to be wary of the competition from AC Milan in the race to sign the 26-year-old forward. But Arsenal will likely be confident about signing Asensio in the summer transfer window after submitting an offer worth around €40 million to Real Madrid.
