Spanish teenage sensation Adam Aznou is reportedly closing in on completing a move from Barcelona to Bayern Munich this summer.
According to a report by Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Adam Aznou is the subject of interest from Bayern Munich over a possible move in the summer transfer window. The Spanish teenage sensation could leave Barcelona as a free agent, with the Bavarian club potentially his next destination.
Adam Aznou is one of the most promising young footballers in Spain, with the teenage wonderkid going from strength to strength in Barcelona’s famed academy La Masia in the last few years. A left-back by trade, the 15-year-old currently plies his trade for Barcelona’s Cadet A team.
The Spanish sensation has broken into his nation’s under-16 side and is also eligible to represent Morocco in the future. But Aznou’s stint with Barcelona is approaching its end, as he will become a free agent soon. And the youngster seems destined to join Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window to seek a quicker pathway to first-team football.
Bayern Munich might not have the best reputation in Germany when it comes to grooming young players into the first-team squad from their youth setup. But the Bavarian giants house some of the most promising prospects in the country before they become world-class performers, either at the Allianz Arena or another club.
The latest example has been Karim Adeyemi, who will move to rivals Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window from Red Bull Salzburg. And Aznou could be the latest prodigious young prospect to move to Bayern Munich, with the Bundesliga champions leading the race to sign him.
Barcelona and Bayern Munich have been interlinked with various whizkids in 2022, with the Blaugrana reportedly keen on signing Kenan Yildiz. Meanwhile, the German heavyweights have shown an interest in Barcelona’s teenage sensation Gavi, who could be included in a part-exchange deal involving Robert Lewandowski.
As for Aznou, the 15-year-old defensive sensation seems destined to embark on a new adventure in the summer transfer window, possibly after leaving Barcelona as a free agent. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the teenage Spanish sensation if he joins Bayern Munich.
