Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are among the clubs interested in signing Moussa Dembele.
According to Foot Mercato, Olympique Lyon are facing a battle in their bid to keep hold of Moussa Dembele. The striker has become a wanted prospect in the market following a promising campaign in Ligue 1. He is primarily courted by the Premier League clubs, with the list including Manchester United.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are involved in the race as well, as they look to bring Dembele back to the Premier League. Lyon could be willing to let go of their star striker for a fee of around €25 million, considerably lower than his €33 million price tag last summer.
Formerly of Fulham, Dembele has continued to impress the onlookers with his goalscoring prowess, following his return from Atletico Madrid last summer. The Frenchman has emerged as a star performer for Lyon this term, racking up 21 goals in the league, helping Les Gones finish eighth in the table.
The 25-year-old was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dire campaign for Lyon. His contributions in front of goal were vital in helping the club move on from Memphis Depay, who joined FC Barcelona after the end of last season.
This summer, Lyon are in contention to lose Dembele, with Manchester United among the clubs interested in his services. The report cites the Premier League giants are looking at Dembele as an ideal replacement for Edinson Cavani, who is out of contract at the end of June.
Manchester United are also hoping to replace Jesse Lingard, who is also set to leave the club for free, with West Ham United in pole position to secure his services. The addition of someone like Dembele could help the Red Devils move on from the losses and hand a reliable alternative to Cristiano Ronaldo in the No. 9 role.
Arsenal are set to offer stiff competition to Manchester United in their pursuit of Dembele. The Gunners are preparing for life without Alexandre Lacazette while Eddie Nketiah has emerged as a target for Chelsea and Liverpool following his impressive performances in recent weeks. Even though Nketiah could be signing a new deal, Arsenal need at least one new centre-forward to bolster their attack, making Dembele a viable target.
Tottenham Hotspur are the other club interested in the services of Dembele. The Lilywhites are looking for a reliable alternative for Harry Kane, and the Frenchman fits the bill perfectly, due to his experience at the highest level of football, coupled with his goalscoring prowess.

Dembele’s €25 million price tag should not be a major obstacle for any of these clubs either, although the report suggests the player is in no hurry to leave Lyon and a prolonged stay at the club cannot be ruled out at all.
