Paulo Dybala uninterested in Arsenal, Newcastle switch

Paulo Dybala is reportedly uninterested in a move to Premier League sides Arsenal or Newcastle, and may continue playing in Italy.

According to FC Internews, Paulo Dybala could continue playing in Italy after he leaves Juventus in the summer. The forward is uninterested in a move to either Arsenal or Newcastle, who have shown an interest in signing him.

The news about Paulo Dybala’s potential exit from Juventus caused a frenzy in the transfer market. The Argentine, having spent a long time at the Turin side, looked set to sign a new deal, until matters turned sour.

Juventus rescinded their previous offer and made a counter-proposal that would have seen Dybala earn significantly less. It led to an impasse between both parties, which has resulted in the Argentine attacker deciding to leave the Serie A giants when his deal expires in June.

Naturally, there has been significant interest from across the continent. Many of those sides had previously tried to sign the Argentine, chief among those, Barcelona, who are no longer interested.

Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Arsenal are also reportedly keen on Dybala. However, the Argentine is not interested in a switch to either side, as he continues to evaluate other proposals on the table.

There have been indications that Dybala might be comfortable staying in Italy and joining a Serie A side. Only Inter Milan have made a concrete offer for the attacker, with AC Milan bowing out due to financial reasons.

Back in the Premier League, Dybala was a wanted figure for Gunners boss Mikel Arteta who is eyeing a new forward in the summer window. The Argentine is at the age where he can prove to be effective in this Arsenal side and probably become their centre-forward.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are set for a big summer window with an abundance of cash and could have handed a lucrative deal to the Argentine. However, Dybala is reportedly not keen on such a move and may join an Italian or Spanish side.

When the next transfer window opens, there could be a battle between top sides across the continent for Dybala. It will be interesting to see how this story transpires and where the Argentine ends up playing his football next season.
