Liverpool moved a step closer to securing a place in the Top 4 as they routed West Ham United 4-0 at the London Stadium on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s men looked comfortable for large parts of the match against a West Ham side that failed to impose themselves after creating a few dangerous opportunities early on. However, it was smooth sailing for Liverpool after Daniel Sturridge broke the deadlock with his first goal since January.

The English striker was set up by an exquisite ball through the lines by Philippe Coutinho who grabbed a brace for himself by hour mark. Divock Origi rounded off the emphatic win with 15 minutes left in regulation time to with a straightforward close range finish.
