Granit Xhaka scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute for Arsenal in the EFL Cup tie against Nottingham Forest.
Xhaka scored in fantastic fashion as he took the ball up just inside the opponent’s half before launching an absolute stunner. The keeper got a hand to it but could not stop the ball as it swerved into the net.

A lot of good performances tonight from lads who are knocking loudly on wengers door. Xhaka is pure world class! What a baller he is

Gonna be disappointing if Xhaka doesn’t score all of his goals from 25+ yards out

Even Piers Morgan, a very critical fan of the Gunners, did not shy away from praising the Swiss international.
Bloody hell, he’s done it again. Has any Arsenal player ever scored 2 better first goals than Xhaka? #afc
