The Blues unbeaten start to the season came to an end at Stamford Bridge, as Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool beat the pensioners 2-1. After the game, questions where raised as to why a game-changer like Cesc Fabregas is consistently being left on the bench.

The 29-year-old midfielder is yet to start for Chelsea under Antonio Conte in the Premier League this season. He has mostly been used as a substitute and it seemed to be fine with the fans as long as the Blues were winning games, but that all changed as they lost to Liverpool at home.

Fabregas came on in the last 10 minutes of the game, and it was enough to convince Blues fans that he deserved a start ahead of the likes of Oscar and Nemanja Matic.
