Manchester United ended their four-game winless streak in the Premier League, as they defeated Norwich City 3-1 at Carrow Road on Sunday.
Scott McTominay opened the scoring for Manchester United, before Marcus Rashford made it 2-0 moments after seeing his penalty being saved by Tim Krul. The Dutchman would stop another spot-kick, this time from Anthony Martial, but was unable to stop the Frenchman from making it 3-0 with a lovely dink after some neat interplay between himself and Rashford.
Norwich City managed to get a goal back through Onel Hernandez late on, but it proved nothing but a mere consolation, as Manchester United picked up their first away win in eight Premier League games. Naturally, the fans were pleased with the outcome and performance on the evening. Here’s how they reacted to the win on social media.
Well done boys…could have been with clean sheet but 3 points is all that matters ❤

Normally we hate on the play even with a result. The play today was great. That’s the type of chances we need to creat on the regular.

Fans were pleased with Anthony Martial, as the Frenchman scored his second goal in his second start since making a return from his eight-week long injury layoff.
That finish from Martial is so instinctive. Can’t teach that. And that is why Martial should be the centre forward with Rashford playing off him. So much more fluid.

Martial returns. Two away wins on the bounce. £50m down the drain. #MUFC pic.twitter.com/G9Efwex7cn

Manchester United have won 77% of their league games under Ole Gunnar Solskjær when Anthony Martial has started, compared to 29% when he hasn’t.
