The saga of the Premier League’s first ever American manager has come to a tragic end, with Swansea City giving Bob Bradley the sack after just 11 games in charge.
Things aren’t looking too rosy for the Swans, as they are currently wallowing in 19th place in the Premier League table and looking likely to be relegated. The club are now on the lookout for their third manager of the season, as Bradley followed in the footsteps of his predecessor Francesco Guidolin.
There are a number of names being thrown into the hat as the Swans look for the man for the job. The likes of recently sacked Alan Pardew, Frank de Boer and Ryan Hodgson are being mentioned, but former Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs is an early front-runner for the job.
Fans took to Twitter to question whether or not the Welshman would be a good appointment by the South Wales club.

I think Giggs should put himself forward for the Swansea job, it is the only way he will learn, develop and pick up experience as a manger.

Giggs to Swansea probably now more of an option.will the club match his own ambitions though? Tbh, can’t do any worse. #Giggs

Is the #Swansea job a disaster? Absolutely. Club is in shambles. But imagine saving them. #Giggs #Swans

#Swansea should count themselves lucky if they got a footballing god like #Giggs #mufc

So Swansea want Giggs who ‘didn’t interview well’ last time. What’s changed? The wrong man for me in these circumstances.

Giggs qualifications for Swansea job actually very slight. No mgt experience and associated with two failed regimes at MUFC.

Giggs is definitely the right man for Swansea, let him go get relegated to get rid of the hideous notion of him ever being United manager
