A tumultuous season ended in another game to forget for Manchester United as they were handed a 2-0 loss by Cardiff City at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The hosts provided the threat, chiefly through 17-year-old Mason Greenwood, who was making his full debut for the club. But, Manchester United could never quite manage to find the back of the net in what was another dreadful evening of football.
Neil Etheridge resolutely stood between United and the goal they desperately sought, although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men also had themselves to blame for some poor efforts. The game changing action came on the opposite end, however, as Cardiff opened the scoring through Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, although Diogo Dalot was unfairly penalised for a legal tackle.
The win was rounded off early in the second half, as Mendez-Laing completed his brace after some superb work by Josh Murphy. The result brought an end to Manchester United’s misery, with the Red Devils winning just two of their last 12 games in the season. Invariably, Solskjaer copped a lot of flak, while also being trolled by rival fans.
every single player out there, who’ve played all season DESERVE this, especially the solskjaer pet boys aka chrisy, jonah, youngy, lingy and rashy, as well as solskjaer himself for his IDIOTIC decisions and subs. oh and of course ed woodward deserves the worst!!!

It took 5 years but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has finally got Cardiff playing well

what an embarrassment we actually gave a norwegian PE teacher a managerial contract, if ole was really a legend he’d resign now

Love Ole, but 1/6 points against already relegated Huddersfield Town & Cardiff City is a sackable offence.

Pretty obvious now that the whole Solskjaer thing at @ManUtd was a false dawn. They have even saddled him with the failed manager of @HullCity as his assistant.

I said it last Sunday and I’ll say it again 7 days later. I have no sympathy for Ole who AGAIN went with the same players who have failed him instead of going for the youth and letting us see a glimpse of the future. We’ve finished the season being embarrassed.

Ole has such s strong pro English bias. It’s nuts. Lingard, Rashford, Young, Jones… No business starting in that team. He makes me sick. None of these deserve to start for a Championship team even. He came in with an agenda against Lukaku. Kmt.

One player who was singled out for criticism was Marcus Rashford, who was largely ineffective yet again.
Rashford is another hyped up English player. No end product just pace.

Rashford and Lingard should be so embarrassed

I cant believe we compared Rashford to Mbappe ??♂️#MUFC

But, there was some positive to take from the match, with Mason Greenwood looking dangerous on his full debut for Manchester United, even if he could not get anything from the game.
Well…that was shite! Only positive was Mason Greenwood. Looked sharp, hungry and thought overall he did well. Not gonna do a man of the match poll for us cos I think it’s clear it was him. @Doc_Joshi here for the full time takeover. Use #FullTimeDoc to get involved.

Genuinely feel sorry for Greenwood. Must be difficult making a step down from the U23’s to the senior team. #MUFC
