The frustrations continued for Jose Mourinho & co. as Manchester United were held to a tame goalless stalemate by Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday
The two teams stood on an even pedestal for the most part, with Crystal Palace managing to conjure up a number of opportunities to spring a surprise on the struggling giants. For Manchester United, chances came few and far between, with Romelu Lukaku coming the closest to break the deadlock.
Both the sides were also denied by the assistant referee for offside in contentious fashion, but in the end the two sides were quite evenly matches. The frustrations continued for Jose Mourinho, whose side have now fallen even further behind the Premier League title contenders, despite moving up to seventh on the table, and the facts were laid out for the manager.
It was bad under Moyes and Van Gaal, but it's now officially worse under Mourinho… https://t.co/WIljEmzXar

To make this collection of attacking players as utterly abject as Mourinho has is an absolutely staggering achievement.

How is this man still our manager?
— J.Mourinho (@Stubborn_jose) November 24, 2018
Anyone who wants Mourinho to stay and thinks that this is not his fault seriously has no clue about football. DARMIAN, FELLAINI & MATIC wouldn’t get into City’s car park, let alone the first team. Jose-Ball is absolute TRASH. Get Out Of My Club #MourinhoOut

Manchester United have created fewer chances this season than Mark Hughes's Southampton.
He's far from the only issue, but that is still an absolutely damning indictment of Jose Mourinho's management.

Unwatchable, indefensible garbage. It’s not all Mourinho’s fail but enough of it is. Watching Utd is no longer enjoyable.

Us getting Mourinho’s 3rd season disasterclass without his 2nd season trophies is still so unfair

Jose needs to leave soon. I have honestly seen enough. We have gone as far we can under his leadership. Time for change.

Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic were chastised for horrible performances as well, with the duo failing to assert domination in the middle of the park.
Some boos as Pogba came off. Probably for the decision, rather than the player, but he was woeful. It's got to the point that if he can engineer attacks against Newcastle everyone should rave about it. Just falls below standards too often. #mufc

Nemanja Matic won just 1 of the 4 tackles he attempted in the first half vs. Crystal Palace.
Time for a midfield rethink? ??? pic.twitter.com/kQFmQvPDfZ

So do pogba and lukaku still actually pick up wages this week? #AskingForAFriend #joseout

What's the point of Matic? Been awful for whole old 2018 in United shirt. Not needed against the likes of Palace at home.
He may as well have "Static" on the back of his shirt rather than "Matic".— Andrew Kilduff (@TuftyMUFC) November 24, 2018
Another player who was subjected to fans’ ire was Romelu Lukaku, even though he came the closes to scoring for Manchester United.
Done well to grind out a point there. Matic-Fellaini developing a cracking understanding, only a matter of time before they’re unlocking these cagey visiting defences. Lukaku showing why it would be ridiculous to play anyone else up front. Could be a real #turningpoint
