At 29, he is at the peak of his powers and he has the experience and the quality to adapt to a new league quickly. Tottenham and Manchester United have an exciting project and they will be attractive destinations for most players.
However, it is fair to assume that they might need to secure Champions League qualification to attract players of his quality.
