Mohamed Salah is waiting for last details; then he could fly today to #Liverpool. He’s ready to sign his contract. €45M to AS Roma #LFC

Salah’s career has been on an upward curve since he left Chelsea, and he enjoyed a fruitful season with Roma in 2016/17, with 15 goals and 11 assists in Serie A. And Liverpool fans were overjoyed upon learning that the deal is set to be completed soon.
Salah scored more goals and got more assists than Dybala in Serie A last season. £35m for a winger of that quality is great value.

Salah is the 3rd best winger in the league after Hazard and Mane. We’ve got 3 top top class ballers in Coutinho, Mane and Salah

Interestingly if you had given me a choice of Salah or Brandt pre this window, I wouldn’t of given it a second thought. Salah all day.

The pace of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah on either flank, with deep-lying Coutinho feeding them balls… ? pic.twitter.com/T4lj7DarVM

Mohamed Salah was directly involved in 26 goals in the league last season – more than anyone at Liverpool. #LFC pic.twitter.com/sFlh1sFIAj

All I need from next season is us beating Chelsea 1-0 in the 93rd minute thanks to a Solanke goal from a Salah assist & I’ll die happy.

Meanwhile, there were a few who were quick to point out that Salah is a “Chelsea reject”, with some others jumping to his defence:
Salah, just another @ChelseaFC reject ? pic.twitter.com/FzGIphmQwV

Mata had his best years at Chelsea, won more at chelsea. Salah…. Chelsea reject. Rejected you to join us then sat on our bench. Congrats.

If Salah IS that good, why aren’t Chelsea, United, Arsenal, City, or even Spurs in for him?
Honest question

People underrate Salah because he flopped at Chelsea, and is Egyptian. He was more impressive than Dybala in Serie A last season.

Calling a player a “Chelsea reject” doesn’t make a lot of sense considering how Sturridge, Lukaku, KDB, Matic and Salah have developed. ?

“Why are Liverpool signing Mo Salah? He’s a Chelsea reject!”
