Liverpool were handed a reality check as they succumbed to a shock 2-0 defeat at the hands of a resurgent Hull City. Despite dominating proceedings in the first half, they were shell-shocked at the stroke of half time when Alfred N’Diaye scored on his debut for the Tigers.
It was more of the same in the second half, but despite all efforts, the Reds failed to claw their way back into the game. In the 84th minute, Oumar Niasse scored Hull’s second and gave the fans a much needed celebration.
Here’s how fans reacted to Liverpool’s performance and their recent form:

How to beat Liverpool:
1: Sit deep
2: Let them pass it around
3: Wait for them to give you the ball
4: Score a set piece
5: Counter attack— Luke (@luke_lfc95) February 4, 2017
Liverpool with 80% possession are losing 2-0 at struggling Hull City. No plan B, just 2 shots on target. Klopp found out yet? ?

I don’t think I’ll ever see Liverpool win the league in my lifetime.

Liverpool are staying true to their socialist roots. Distributing points to clubs who needs them the most. Good on us.

Sadio Mane returned to the fold after a disappointing African Cup of Nations performance with Senegal. However, even his impact was not sufficient as the Reds failed to find the back of the net.

Thought they said the reason they were losing was because mane was at AFCON.
So mane FC isn’t really mane FC ?
Plot twist

They’ve been screaming for Mane to come back from Africa only for him to set up goals for the opposition when he finally does ??
