Manchester United succumbed to their fourth straight draw at Old Trafford, as their game against West Ham ended 1-1.
The Hammers scored just 90 seconds after kick-off. English winger Jesse Lingard gave away a soft free kick to West Ham, and Dimitri Payet angled in an excellent assist for Diafra Sakho to finish off.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalized twenty minutes later, but the evening went downhill from there for the Red Devils. Manager Jose Mourinho was sent off after reacting furiously to the referee’s decision to brandish a yellow card to Paul Pogba.
After the game, Lingard was singled out as the whopping boy by Manchester United fans. In addition to his costly mistake, fans were furious that he played instead of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and stayed on the pitch longer than Juan Mata.
Can’t understand how Mata’s been taken off while Lingard’s still on the pitch.

How Lingard plays for a club of Man Utd’s size is mind blowing.

Not impressed with Lingard at all. Needs to start to learn.

Lingard is cr*p ! yes he scores a decent goal a couple of times a year but what else does he do ?

Lingard, 2 stupid free kicks given away in similar areas; 1 goal, 1 save by De Gea.

What does Mourinho see in Lingard. Would he get a game for any of the top sides in Europe? Not a chance. #manutd

Going Carrington tomorrow. If Lingard can get through the United academy, I can.

How Lingard ever gets into the match day squad baffles me.

We are Unlucky because Mourinho needs luck to Drop Lingard. Is it Ludo?

Lingard is wasteful. Mkhitaryan has to start over him, a much more creative player. Mourinho has get over his bias against some players.

#manutd the only team in world football that would play lingard ahead of Mikytaryan and fellaini ahead of a corpse.

Lingard was on the field 85 minutes too long.

I don’t give a damn what anyone says.. Lingard is nowhere near good enough for United and that’s it.

Lingard offered nothing today but still gets a start ahead of better plays madness
