Kylian Mbappe has claimed that he is yet to decide on his future amid continued speculation linking him with a summer move to Real Madrid.

Speaking to the media, as relayed by MARCA, Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has claimed that he has not talked to Real Madrid despite rumours that he has reached a pre-contract agreement over a summer move with the Spanish capital outfit.

Mbappe has entered the final year of his contract with PSG. The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid for the longest time. Los Blancos made several attempts to land him in the summer last year, but PSG were reluctant to do business and have been trying hard to convince the 23-year-old to sign an extension.

However, little progress has been made on that front, while links to Real Madrid have continued. Reports last month even indicated that the La Liga leaders had reached a pre-contract agreement with Mbappe over a Bosman deal in the summer.

But Mbappe has claimed that there have been no talks, and he is yet to decide on his future. For now, his focus is on facing Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, with PSG set to square off against the Merengues in the Round-of-16 stage.

“I’m concentrated on beating Madrid and then we’ll see what happens,” said Mbappe. “I have yet to make a decision. Even if the match against Madrid changes things, and though I’m free to do as I please, I’m not going to do those kinds of things. And I won’t speak to a rival.”

Since joining PSG from AS Monaco in the summer of 2017, Mbappe has grown into one of the best forwards in the game. The 23-year-old has tasted a lot of success with Les Parisiens while also winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Nations League with the French national team.

With Karim Benzema not getting any younger and the future of Eden Hazard uncertain, Real Madrid need to refresh their attacking options. Mbappe, to that end, has emerged as a top target for Los Blancos for the summer. Despite what the Frenchman is claiming, a move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the upcoming transfer window looks like a serious possibility.
