Kylian Hazard insists Eden Hazard will remain at Real Madrid

Kylian Hazard has claimed that Eden Hazard will not leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, insisting he will prove himself at the Spanish club.

As quoted by Daily Mail, Kylian Hazard has had his say on Eden Hazard’s future at Real Madrid. The Belgian international’s brother has insisted that the 31-year-old will not depart from the Santiago Bernabeu until he has proven himself at the Spanish club.

Eden Hazard completed a dream transfer when he joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in July 2019. But the dream has turned into a nightmare for the experienced attacker, as he has suffered from a spate of injuries and ultimately become a shell of a player he once was at Stamford Bridge.

The 31-year-old has reached his lowest ebb at Real Madrid this season, garnering only 877 minutes of game-time across 22 outings in all competitions, with his last appearance coming in February. Hazard’s campaign has ended early as he has undergone a procedure on his ankle.

The Belgian international is now expected to end his frustrations at Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, with Los Blancos already scouring the market for a viable replacement. But his brother, Kylian Hazard, has insisted that the former Chelsea talisman will not leave Real Madrid ahead of the 2022/23 season.

“He’s not going to let Real go until he’s proven he’s the strongest there. He’s proven himself at every club he’s been to, and for me, he doesn’t want to leave. I don’t think he’s going to leave. If the president wants him to leave, if he knows he has no chance to play, then I don’t think that he will stay.”

“But I can assure you of one thing: he will do everything to prove that he is the best player at Real. Honestly? I think it’s a bit of a dream this Dortmund story, I don’t see Eden going to Germany. I don’t see Eden running as much as Thorgan,”

Hazard has recently been linked with Borussia Dortmund, while widespread reports have also mooted a possible return to Chelsea. But with the Blues currently placed in a transfer embargo, it is unclear whether rejoining Chelsea will be possible for the Real Madrid outcast. It will also be interesting to see if Hazard ends up staying put at the Santiago Bernabeu.
