PSV Eindhoven mainstay Ismael Saibari has been urged to join Tottenham Hotspur at in the summer transfer window by Khalid Boulahrouz.
Former Chelsea star Khalid Boulahrouz believes that Ismael Saibari could be a quality acquisition for Tottenham Hotspur, and they would be a good fit for the player as well.
He said to Voetbal Primeur, “If I look at Saibari: he really played the entire Eredivisie,” the former international states clearly. “If you look at his statistics and his style of play: that is good enough to make a transfer.”
“He is a Moroccan international, has an Africa Cup behind him, and is going to play in a World Cup. Assuming he is a starter and plays well in two matches, you’re simply done. Then you have to push through.
“I’m just curious what kind of club will come along. He needs to go to an attacking team, where he can thrive. A nice club; they aren’t doing well at all, but he can add something extra to Tottenham Hotspur. I would go to a club where he can be important.”
The PSV Eindhoven star is in impressive form, with 18 goals to his name across all competitions. He has picked up nine assists along the way as well. The Moroccan international is a dynamic attacker capable of operating in the attacking midfield role, on the flanks, and as a second striker. His versatility will be a huge bonus for Tottenham if they manage to sign him.
The opportunity to join a Premier League outfit could be exciting for the 25-year-old. He is at the peak of his career, and this is the right time for him to compete at a higher level and join a bigger club.
Tottenham will be able to provide him with the opportunity to prove himself at the highest level, especially if they get back to their desired levels. Regular football in the Premier League could help him improve further.

Tottenham need more quality in the final third, and stats show Ismael Saibari could be a good fit. The Moroccan international is an impressive creator and goalscorer. He is also a hard-working player who helps out defensively. Spurs have not yet been able to replace Son Heung-min. Signing a dynamic attacker like Saibari could be ideal for them.
The Moroccan international has the technical attributes to succeed in the Premier League, and he could make a big difference for them in the final third. He will help create opportunities for his teammates and look to score regularly as well. However, PSV Eindhoven have previously been reluctant to cash in on the player.
Tottenham need more quality in the final third if they want to fight for trophies next season. Apart from a dynamic attacker like Saibari, they should also invest in a centre forward. Dominic Solanke has been underwhelming since his big-money move from Bournemouth, and they need someone who can find the back of the net regularly.
