Real Madrid continued to keep the pressure on Barcelona with a commanding 4-0 victory over Tony Adams’ beleaguered Granada side on Saturday night.
James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata both picked up two goals apiece as Real comfortably saw out a 4-0 victory against the hosts, who went into the match having already been relegated from the La Liga.
The result means that Real are now level on points with Barcelona, who beat Villareal 4-1 earlier on Saturday, although Los Blancos do have a game in hand.
James Rodriguez was on the receiving end of lots of praise after a fine performance, with Twitter quick to show its appreciation for the Colombian superstar.

Messi leads all La Liga midfielders in goal contributions in all comps this season with 72.
Next highest is James Rodriguez with 23.

James Rodriguez upping his game after being linked with United, hoping to impress Jose. It’ll never happen in my view.

James Rodriguez has been the victim of a coordinated propaganda campaign and whatever team that gets him will get a peach of a player

Alvaro Morata was similarly praised after a fine performance up front for Los Blancos.

Alvaro Morata has now scored as many league goals (15) in 24 games for Real Madrid this season as he did in 63 games for Juventus.

Álvaro Morata has 19 goals from 17 starts this season. Far too good of a player to just be sitting on the bench. Calm finisher.

In #LaLiga this season:
Karim Benzema = 9 goals
Alvaro Morata = 15 goals
The first is a starter and the second barely plays ?? pic.twitter.com/IklGzDd2MJ

Morata… what a player!
— Matt Craig (@MattHDGamer) May 6, 2017
Morata played less minutes than Benzema & he’s already Real Madrid 2nd top scorer behind Ronaldo, enough said.

Madrid’s fringe players were given the recognition they deserved – particularly Lucas Vazquez who stood out on Saturday night.
Imagine Dembele/Asensio/Vazquez/Morata/Mbappe. At least 3 will be world class in 2 years.

Morata, Kovacic,Asensio,James & Vazquez are being wasted at Real Madrid. Premier League clubs should be queueing up to take them this summer
— Premier League Panel (@PremLeaguePanel) May 6, 2017
Lucas Vazquez, Asensio, Morata & James work very well together. They may be labelled Real Madrid ‘B’ but their contributions are A+.
— ZIZOU (@RMadridCastilla) May 6, 2017
James, Vazquez, Asensio, Morata and Kovacic. This will be a good day

Such scintillating play. And this Lucas Vazquez reminds me heavily of Jesse Lingard. Similar qualities and work-rate!

Imagine your second string front 4 being Asensio Rodriguez Lucas/Isco Morata. Real Madrid are the best team in the world, hands down
