Real Madrid’s interest in signing Argentine prodigy Gonzalo Sosa has been confirmed by one of his representatives, Dante Curi.
Speaking exclusively to Defensa Central, Dante Curi, one of the representatives of Racing Club prodigy Gonzalo Sosa, has confirmed that Real Madrid are interested in signing the attacking midfielder, but will face competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid.
Gonzalo Sosa is widely regarded as one of the most exciting young prospects in South American football. The 17-year-old has been long linked with a move to Real Madrid, with Castilla manager Raul Gonzalez particularly intent on adding the youngster to their roster in the immediate future.
Dante Curi, who happens to be one of the representatives of Sosa, has spoken to Defensa Central, confirming that Real Madrid are interested in the 17-year-old Argentine whizkid. At the same time, the lawyer has provided an update on the contract situation of the young attacking midfield with Racing Club, saying:
“Gonzalo recovers and evolves in a great way in the face of everything that comes to him in the near future. He does not have a signed contract with the Racing Club, but he does have a pre-contract to facilitate the signing when he is of legal age.”

However, Dante Curi has added that PSG are also interested in signing the 17-year-old teenage prodigy, along with Real Madrid’s local rivals Atletico Madrid. “PSG and Atlético de Madrid have joined the interest in recent hours,” he added.
Real Madrid have shown great focus on signing and nurturing young talents within their youth ranks. It has seen them add several prospects in recent transfer windows, including this summer, with the transfers of Carlos Sanchez, Erik Vazquez and more recently, Jesus Fortea from Atletico Madrid.
Gonzalo Sosa has now emerged as another such exciting talent on the radars of the reigning Spanish and European champions. But with Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain also entering the race for the teenager’s signing, it remains to be seen if Los Blancos prevail in the battle for the teenage attacking midfielder.
