Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan became the first Armenian to score a goal in the Premier League, as his solo effort gave United a much needed win against Tottenham.
Mkhitaryan’s 29th minute goal proved to be the difference for United against Spurs. The 1-0 victory will come as a relief to manager Jose Mourinho and the Old Trafford faithful, after seeing their side draw four games on the trot at home in the league.
However, the night still didn’t go off without a hitch. The goalscorer and match winner was stretchered off in the second half after a tackle from Danny Rose. The injury isn’t as bad as it seemed though, with Mourinho saying the player would be out for only a week.
After the game, fans on Twitter lauded Mkhtaryan’s magical show for the Red Devils, but had some concerns about his injury.

Mkhitaryan will take a week to recover from that injury but Danny Rose might take a lot longer to recover from that humiliation.
