Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent weeks.
A number of clubs are thought to be keeping tabs on the 23-year-old but the player has now hinted that he is looking forward to a contract extension with the London club.
He said: “I’m sure that will get sorted out. Everyone knows Chelsea is my club and I love playing for them — our fans are brilliant and I’m loving it right now. I’m sure it will get itself sorted out”.
Gallagher has a contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2025 and it remains to be seen whether Chelsea can extend his stay at the London club. He has been a useful player for Chelsea and it remains to be seen whether the Blues are ready to hand them a new contract.
The fact that Gallagher wants to stay at Stamford Bridge will come as a major boost for Chelsea and their fans.

The 23-year-old male is highly rated in the Premier League and he has a bright future ahead of him. He could develop into a top-class Premier League midfielder and remains to be seen where he ends up. Clubs like Tottenham for example, need more quality and depth in the middle of the park and the Chelsea star would be a superb acquisition.
It will be interesting to see whether these clubs try and make an effort to sign the player in the upcoming transfer window. A number of clubs were keen on Gallagher during the summer transfer window, and there could be approaches for him during the January transfer window as well.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old must ensure that he will get ample gametime at Stamford Bridge if he stays. The London outfit have a number of quality options at their disposal and Gallagher could easily find himself sitting on the bench in the coming months.
The 23-year-old is a quality midfielder who would improve most Premier League clubs. But Chelsea have a number of options at their disposal and Gallagher must seek gametime assurances before committing to a new contract with them.
