Cristiano Ronaldo lead his team to victory as he scored twice in Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Celta Vigo last night.
The in-form Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in Wednesday night’s 4-1 win over Celta Vigo as he took Zinedine Zidane’s men to within a point of the La Liga title.
Real made a strong start and got ahead early on thanks to Ronaldo’s efforts. The Portuguese star overtook Jimmy Greaves as the most prolific player to top Europe’s five biggest domestic divisions as he scored his 367th and 368th goals.
The first half did not have as many opportunities for Real Madrid, but Ronaldo turned all that around in the second half as he spearheaded a devastating counter attack on the home team.
Ronaldo was the toast of the Twitteratis as his double took Real Madrid a step closer to the title. Take a look:

Ronaldo's 5th Ballon d'or written in the stars. Almost single handedly carrying the biggest club on the planet at the age of 32.

Ronaldo is finished & guided Real Madrid to the CL final & to win Liga, I wonder what he would be able to do if he wasn't finished.

There was a bit of a controversy when Celta Vigo’s Iago Aspas was dismissed for a dive, and angry fans were quick to point out some alleged incidents of partiality in the La Liga.
Aspas gets fouled: Gets a yellow card and sent off.
Ronaldo dives: Opponent gets yellow card.
Welcome to corrupt La Liga.

Not only was this not a penalty, Iago Aspas got booked for diving. Second yellow and he's off. Good night. pic.twitter.com/lYbV0Htfvn

Iago Aspas sent off after picking up a second yellow for diving. Sorry, but that isn't a dive. Ramos catches him. Should be a penalty..

Varane deliberate handball in the box. Iago Aspas sent off for what was a very clear penalty. Rash challenge by Ramos. Aspas red-carded. OK!

Iago Aspas wrongfully sent off.
Casemiro not getting 2nd Yellow.
Clear penalty to Celta.#PeligrosamentePreparada— Andrés (@Andregomecismo) May 17, 2017
While Real Madrid fans were exuberant about Ronaldo’s performance, they were also equally pleased with Isco. The midfielder partnered brilliantly with Ronaldo, and the duo tore apart Celta’s defence.
Wall: Casemiro.
Deep Lying Playmakers: Kroos and Modric.
Creative Attacking Mid: Isco.
Recipe for success. #HalaMadrid pic.twitter.com/js6XHI5u7Q

Another day goes by and another Isco masterclass in a high-pressure match. How can you not start this guy for the Final?

Both Cristiano Ronaldo's goals against Celta Vigo were assisted by Isco. #HalaMadrid pic.twitter.com/ldY66SrZat

There's just no way on Earth Isco doesn't make Real Madrid's Starting XI in Cardiff even with Bale healthy, right? Right?!

Isco has now scored or assisted 14 goals in his last 15 starts for Real Madrid across all competitions.

Boggles my mind how Isco only started to get more recognition this season. Madrid held back his development by always playing Bale over him
— Juan (@socraticjuan) May 17, 2017
Isco is a FIFA "my player" with maxed out dribbling and five star skills. Man just oozes class and mesmerizes us with pure football.
