A first-half injury to Marouane Fellaini overshadowed the thrilling match as Belgium eked out a 4-3 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina in the World Cup qualifiers.

The international break often throws up some personnel issues for the clubs. And as the game started, Marouane Fellaini became a victim of the same. The Belgian had to be brought off the pitch after just 23 minutes in what looks like a knee injury and is sure to keep the player out for a considerable period of time.

Jose Mourinho would surely be angry at Fellaini’s injury, with Paul Pogba already out. The numbers in the midfield will now be restricted further, that too ahead of the crucial fixture against Liverpool. Fans expressed their frustration towards Roberto Martinez, who played the midfielder despite already suffering a knock.

There was some elaborate update on the injury as well.

On the other hand, Michy Batshuayi marked his first start for the Belgium National Team with a goal and the fans seem to enjoy the striker’s overall performance while also appreciating Jan Vertonghen’s display as well as the Tottenham man became the joint-highest capped player for Belgium.
