Barcelona leapfrogged Real Madrid to the top of the La Liga table as they outclassed a valiant Huesca side in an 8-2 win at Camp Nou on Sunday.
The visitors drew first blood, sending shockwaves inside Camp Nou as they grabbed the lead in the second minute. But, Barcelona soon regained control of the match, even though Huesca looked to take the game to them.
And, it was the Lionel Messi show as the Barcelona captain grabbed two goals and as many assists in a dominating performance. The rest of the midfield and attack contributed as well, with the Blaugrana making a statement with the six-goal win.

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi was the toast of the Barcelona fans on Twitter following his emphatic outing on SUnday. Fans also pointed towards his decision to let Luis Suarez take the penalty in injury time despite himself being on a hat-trick.
Lionel Messi has it all. He is Barcelona’s engine, he is their goalscorer and their creator. With Messi anything is possible. How people still don’t believe he is the greatest player of all time is beyond me.
