Ben White is looking forward to playing at Old Trafford, hoping to test himself against Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ben White has been sensational for Arsenal since joining from Brighton in the summer. The centre-back cost the Gunners just over £50 million. While questions were raised over the transfer initially, the vision of Mikel Arteta and Edu Gaspar for spending the kind of money is becoming clearer with each passing game.
After a difficult start to his Gunners career with a defeat to Brentford on opening day, White has featured in the last eight Premier League games, going unbeaten and registering five clean sheets. The defender has been sensational in his partnership with fellow centre-back Gabriel and other new arrivals, including Aaron Ramsdale and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Arsenal recently beat Watford at the Emirates, where Ben White played a crucial role in the only goal scored by Emile Smith Rowe. It’s a shame he wasn’t called up to the England senior squad despite a series of fantastic defensive performances for the Gunners.

From his comments, he seems to be looking forward to facing the challenge of playing against Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ben White said, “I think probably the United game. I want to play against Cristiano Ronaldo. I’ve played at Old Trafford before, but not when it was full. It would be a great experience.
“In fact I’ve been there to watch a game, when they played Chelsea a few years ago, because my uncle is a United fan so he took me along. But playing there in front of a big crowd is what I really want to do.”
Even the fans are looking forward to this clash at Old Trafford. Only, they might have taken it now, when Manchester United have had a terrible run of results at home. However, with Arsenal on the ascendancy, there is every chance of emulating last season’s win at Old Trafford.
