Arsenal and Liverpool served up another classic on Friday as they played out a 3-3 draw to share the spoils at the Emirates.
The Reds dominated the first half, although they really should have been ahead by three or four goals instead of just the solitary goal by Philippe Coutinho at the break. Their lead was doubled less than ten minutes into the second half through the unstoppable Mohamed Salah.
But, Arsenal made a quick turnaround in a fantastic five-minute spell as Alexis Sanchez, Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil socred a goal each to give the Gunners the lead. The visitors had the last say in the match though, with Roberto Firmino scored from a powerful finish to ensure the match ended all square.
While the match was quite the spectacle for the neutrals, fans of either side were hardly amused, with the respective managers copping a lot of flak as well, starting with the Arsenal fans.

Nothing is more Arsenal than falling 2-0 behind then going up 3-2 and then losing the lead

Wenger had his time and money. Time for a new manager to sort this mess out. Arsenal too easy to defend against and void of ideas. #UTA

When all is said and done, we can talk about contracts, poor performances etc BUT Wenger should not be allowed to rebuild another squad, it just gives everything a clean coat of paint before the cycle repeats itself.

Somebody needs to dash Wenger down like this, so he knows how we feel as fans pic.twitter.com/wT012ysRpR

Liverpool fans weren’t far behind, with the criticism of their faltering defence, as well as Jurgen Klopp.
3 shots 3 goals ! How? Same old Liverpool defence. #ARSLIV #LFC #bbcfootball

Klopp is a pretender, and Liverpool will never push on with him in charge. Same old defensive frailties that cost team points, and no signs of any improvement. #MOTD2

Same old problem with Liverpool, terrible defence and a rubbish goalkeeper?
— Keiran Williams (@williams_keiran) December 22, 2017
Klopp should do this. Klopp should do that. Klopp should, has, must. The same thing you’re saying over and over again lol. He should have done all those hypotheticals in last summer’s transfer window. Him and FSG both messed up. It will cost us this season. 100%. #LFC

Klopp really said he couldn’t find any defender that would improve his defense
Then concedes 3 goals in 5 minutes.
Truth is stranger than fiction

Liverpool have conceded 23 goals this season, Burnley have conceded 12. WBA who are 2nd from bottom have only conceded one more (24) pic.twitter.com/OGrUKzibsD

Simon Mignolet was singled out for criticism as well, after playing a major role in his side’s defensive capitulation, while Petr Cech wasn’t spared either.
