Arsenal 3 – 1 Everton: Gunners miss out on top four despite dominant win [Best Tweets]

Arsenal were unable to enter the top four of the Premier League despite a win in their last game, condemning them to Europa League football.

Arsenal hosted Everton in a must-win game and while the Gunners romped to a 3-1 win, thanks to goals from Alexis Sanchez, Hector Bellerin and Aaron Ramsey, with Romelu Lukaku converting from the penalty spot as a consolation for Everton.

And as the Gunners failed to achieve a top-four finish, the fans came out in full force, criticising Arsene Wenger for the failure.

Arsenal fans sided with Alexis Sanchez for wanting to leave and feared that, in the wake of their club condemned to Europa League football, the Chilean is all set to leave.

There were some positives, though, as Danny Welbeck pitched in with 2 assists on the day and overall showed glimpses of just how good he can be, if he manages to remain injury-free.

However, the English international’s first assist was more a result of missing an open goal and chance – which saw the striker being trolled.
