How INEOS feel about Ruben Amorim future at Manchester United

INEOS have decided against parting ways with Ruben Amorim, and he is now expected to remain at Old Trafford at least until the end of the season.

Manchester United have had a mixed start to the season. The Manchester-based giants were inconsistent in the initial phase, but they have bounced back and have accumulated quite a few points in recent weeks.

Things finally seem to be going Ruben Amorim’s way, as he is getting the desired results and the team is slowly climbing up the Premier League table. They are currently seventh in the top flight, with six wins, three draws and four defeats.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Amorim has managed to secure his long-term future at the club, and their impressive 2-1 win over Fulham has a lot to do with it. The club believe he can meet their expectations in the long run; as a result, they are set to support him for as long as it takes.

Amorim’s time at Old Trafford

Amorim took charge of the Manchester-based giants towards the end of 2024. He was brought in to steady the ship. But the Portuguese manager warned the fans about a storm that was going to hit Old Trafford. It was a rough ride for United under him during the second half of the 2024/25 season.

Despite their struggles, the board backed him in the summer, and they ended up forking out a fortune to reinforce their attack. They didn’t have the best of starts to the season, but they have finally managed to get things going.

The Red Devils have only lost one of their last seven league outings, winning four of those fixtures. It has helped them claim the 7th spot. They were quite clinical against Fulham on Saturday, as they came from a goal behind.

Amorim to stay at Manchester United

Their recent performances have pleased INEOS, who have made a decision regarding his future. While there were question marks over Amorim’s future ever since their defeat to Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup, he has managed to put those questions to bed.

He has finally managed to give them a new identity, and it feels like the players have finally started understanding what Amorim actually wants from them. With things going as per plan, United are confident he can help them return to Europe. As a result, they have decided to back him until the end of the season.
