Jurgen Klopp is one of the greatest modern-day managers. A versatile player as a footballer, he spent most of his career with FSV Mainz. The 56-year-old entered the managerial world with Mainz, spending seven years at the MEWA Arena. But he rose to prominence during his spell with Borussia Dortmund.

The German tactician spent seven years at Borussia Dortmund, guiding them to back-to-back Bundesliga title while winning three other trophies. The Black and Yellows also reached the UEFA Champions League final with Klopp at the helm. But he has achieved legendary status in the managerial world since joining Liverpool in 2015.

With Klopp taking charge of Liverpool, the Reds have won every trophy at the club level, including the elusive Premier League title. But his extraordinary stint with Liverpool will end when the 2023/24 season concludes. The former Borussia Dortmund manager has cited fatigue as his reasoning for his impending departure.

Liverpool will now scour the market for a manager, with Xabi Alonso emerging as the top target. Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp will become highly sought-after in the market, with Barcelona emerging as a potential destination. And the report has claimed that Joan Laporta dreams of bringing the Liverpool manager to the club.

Xavi Hernandez has done a solid job since replacing Ronald Koeman as the Barcelona manager. The Catalan giants won the league title last season but have struggled to deliver the goods this term.
