Real Madrid will look to bounce back to winning ways when they lock horns with SC Braga at the Braga Municipal Stadium on Tuesday night. And Carlo Ancelotti does not have any new concerns hampering his preparations ahead of his side’s latest fixture.
Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao, Dani Ceballos, and Arda Guler remain on the sidelines. Otherwise, Ancelotti is travelling with a strong travelling squad to take on SC Braga this midweek. Meanwhile, the Italian tactician did not discuss any team news update during his pre-match press conference.
But he spoke about possible rotations against SC Braga on Tuesday night. Ancelotti said, “I have to assess the condition of some players, especially those who have come back from injury, like Alaba and Mendy.”

“Nacho is back and Fran is okay, but some players have knocks after the last game. Today we train with all those who have travelled and then I will make the decision to select the eleven.”
Ancelotti should not make many changes to the starting lineup, with Ferland Mendy and David Alaba retaining their spots in the backline after recovering from their recent injuries. The duo will join Antonio Rudiger and Dani Carvajal in the back four. Kepa Arrizabalaga will feature between the sticks, with Andriy Lunin missing out again.
As for the midfield unit, Luka Modric and Eduardo Camavinga are in line to return to the starting lineup. Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde will make way for the duo, who will join Aurelien Tchouameni in the middle of the park. Tchouameni will sit at the base of the midfield diamond, with Modric and Camavinga being the box-to-box midfielders.
Finally, Jude Bellingham should start at the tip of the midfield, having a free role in the opposition’s third. Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes should be the two strikers, meaning Joselu misses out. The veteran Spanish striker will accompany Brahim Diaz, Kroos, and Valverde on the bench.
Predicted Real Madrid XI: Kepa; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, Mendy; Modric, Tchouameni, Camavinga; Bellingham; Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr.
