Trent Alexander-Arnold and Wataru Endo will start for Liverpool against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Sunday.

The Reds will be without the services of Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota. Both players are suspended after being sent off against Tottenham. Meanwhile, Dutch attacker Cody Gakpo misses out after sustaining a first-half injury against the North London club.
Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic will continue their recovery, and they are expected to return after the international break. Meanwhile, Gakpo is expected to return after the international break. Klopp spoke about the Dutchman during his pre-match press conference.
“There is a good chance [of that],” said Jürgen Klopp before continuing, “He is already out of the brace, walks normal around, so from all the very, very bad opportunities and possibilities injury-wise, I think he nearly got the best but is still injured.”
Liverpool are likely to continue in their usual 4-3-3 formation, with Alisson Becker in goal. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson will continue as the full-backs. The two players will look to help out in the attack and protect the central defenders as well.
Ibrahima Konate should start at the heart of the Liverpool defence alongside club captain Virgil Van Dijk. Moving into the midfield, Wataru Endo could be deployed as the defensive midfielder here and he will look to break up the opposition attacks and win the ball back for his side.
Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai will start alongside him. The two players will look to add creativity and control in the middle of the park. In the absence of Gakpo and Jota, Darwin Nunez is set to lead the line for the visitors here.
Mohamed Salah will continue on the right flank, with Luis Diaz on the left wing. The two players will look to add pace, flair and goals to the side. Salah has 12 goal contributions in 12 appearances against Brighton, and he will look to make his mark in this game as well.
