The Hungarian international has got off to a flying start and the staff of the Merseyside club believe he is the best midfielder to have played for the club since Steven Gerrard.
Szoboszlai came into the limelight while playing for RB Leipzig. During his spell of over two years at the German club, he went from strength to strength and managed to attract a lot of attention.
While there was a lot of interest in his services, Liverpool managed to strike a deal with Leipzig for the 22-year-old ahead of the 2023-24 season. The Merseyside club were looking to execute an overhaul in the centre of the park and the Hungarian international was one of their primary targets.
