Tottenham are reportedly in advanced discussions to appoint Arne Slot as their new manager ahead of the new season.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham and Arne Slot are in advanced discussions as Spurs look at the Feyenrrd man to become their new manager. The 44-year-old league-winning manager has had a fantastic season in the Eredivisie and could be north London bound.
Fan opinions certainly matter in decisions made by their club, but the one Tottenham might make regarding their manager might not go down too well. Spurs are in advanced talks with Arne Slot to become their new manager, which may not land favourably with their supporters in the current scenario.
The 44-year-old league-winning manager has made a huge mark with his performances with Feyernoord. He has sealed the domestic title with two games to go as his side beat competition from otherwise favourites Ajax and PSV Eindhoven.
Tottenham have faced a crisis of sorts with their pursuit of various managerial targets. While Arne Slot emerged on their shortlist, he did not come first but rather later. Luis Enrique, Julian Nagelsmann and former boss Mauricio Pochettino were all linked before.

While Pochettino is about to join London rivals, Chelsea, Tottenham recently pulled the plug on the Nagelsmann talks. Their fans wanted a reunion with Pochettino, but unfortunately, the club did not feel that would have been the right appointment at this stage.
They have already opened talks with Slot recently, and as per Gianluca Di Marzio, the two parties are in advanced talks to seal the move. Whether the 44-year-old league-winning manager will succeed in north London remains the question, but he undoubtedly remains one of the more talented characters.
There were some reports in the last few days hinting that Tottenham might hand Ryan Mason the full-time role. However, that may not be the case. For now, it may appear Slot is their priority target, but will he be a good appointment in north London?
There’s little known about Slot’s work apart from the fact that he led Feyenoord to a league title. Experts have praised his ideas, but will that revive a Tottenham side desperate for success and trophies? For now, fans will have to look forward to the 44-year-old’s time here, where they will hope and pray it works efficiently.
