Former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann is now considering becoming Tottenham’s new boss amidst interest from Chelsea.

According to Christian Falk via CaughtOffside, Julian Nagelsmann is considering the Tottenham managerial job. The former Bayern Munich manager has been the talk of the town since his sacking. He has been linked with numerous clubs of late. But, it seems he is considering the role at Spurs.

Falk said: “I heard Nagelsmann is concentrating on Tottenham. Which means he would then accept the job that his successor at Bayern, Thomas Tuchel, rejected.”

Tottenham Hotspur have had a rather disappointing season so far. The club have failed to meet the expectations of the fans. They have failed to end their trophy drought.

Antonio Conte was expected to do wonders at the club. But, things didn’t go according to plan for him. Despite having a decent overall record, the manager came the under the scanner after their exit from the Champions League.

And, things became even worse when he blasted the players and the club in the post-match press conference following their 3-3 draw against Southampton. The media interaction didn’t go down well with the people at the club and they decided to part ways with the Italian boss.

Nagelsmann has been on the radar of multiple teams after being sacked by Bayern Munich. The German boss had a great record in the ongoing season but things were not going well off the pitch as per the reports.

The 35-year-old had a few disputes with senior players and the club’s hierarchy felt there was no real progress under him. Despite losing just three matches out of the 37 in the ongoing season, Nagelsmann was shown the exit door.

Meanwhile, Chelsea were considering him as a priority target to take over the reins of the club. The Blues had recently sacked Graham Potter and wanted the German manager to take charge. But, he seems to have rejected the manager’s job at Chelsea. And, is interested in taking charge of Tottenham starting next season. Spurs would love to have him in their ranks given his track record. And, with him interested in the role it might not be that difficult for Tottenham to land him.
