Juventus looking to lure Antonio Conte by promising two signings

Juventus are set to entice Antonio Conte back to Italy by lining up the signings of Alessandro Bastoni and Sergej Milinkovic Savic.

According to Ficjhajes, Juventus are ready to rope in Alessandro Bastoni and Sergej Milinkovic Savic in an attempt to convince Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte to take the helm.

The Italian giants had hoped to restore their lost glory under the guidance of Massimiliano Allegri. But the Italian has failed to replicate his magic as the Bianconeri crashed out of the Champions League from the group stage and are also positioned in a distant 7th in the Italian top flight.

His future seems to be in jeopardy and if performances don’t improve in the near future, the club might have to conduct a golden handshake with him in his second spell in Turin.

Conte was in charge from 2011 to 2014 at the Juventus Stadium and lifted three Serie A titles. Consistency is what Andrea Agnelli has been searching for and he might have to knock on the door of his former employee.

The Juventus owner had a heated exchange with the then Inter Milan manager during a Coppa Italia clash and the latter even used some abusive actions towards the Bianconeri hierarchy.

But the relationship has been restored and talks of a reunion are going on in full swing. They want to replace Allegri with Conte and want to persuade him with top signings.

Bastoni has been earmarked as a replacement for Leonardo Bonucci in the national setup and the Inter defender could also be earmarked as the future of the Juventus backbone.

But luring him to Turin won’t be easy as Inter are aware of his potential and would be reluctant to let go of one of their most viable assets. But Juventus have remained one of the most sought-after destinations for Italian defenders and Bastoni could follow suit.

Lazio man Milinkovic Savic has turned into one of the most potent midfielders and his top-notch displays have attracted many suitors. Three goals and seven assists this season demonstrates his talent and the 27-year-old might be ready for the next big move in his career.

If Juventus manage to pull off these two transfers and bring in Conte, they might just be able to put their difficulties behind them as well.
