Predicted Arsenal lineup against Fulham: Gunners to remain unchanged; no new injuries in the squad

Mikel Arteta is set to name an unchanged lineup for the fourth game running when Arsenal host Fulham at the Emirates on Saturday.

Arsenal are sitting atop the Premier League table, with no injury problems to report. And Mikel Arteta has an entire squad to choose from for the game against Fulham this weekend. Barring the problem with Reiss Nelson, the manager confirmed there were no fresh problems following their victory over Bournemouth last weekend.

During his pre-match press conference, Arteta updated the media regarding his squad’s health, suggesting no new problems existed. He said, “Everybody has trained this week, and everybody is fine, so hopefully, we’ll have a full team to select from, apart from Reiss [Nelson], who has been injured for a few weeks now.”

Fabio Vieira, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Emile Smith Rowe and Kieran Tierney are now fully fit. The Portuguese attacking midfielder is yet to secure any senior minutes for Arsenal, which could be in store if Arsenal produce a good performance against Fulham.

Tomiyasu was still spoken about replacing Ben White at right-back, but the England international has given no reason to Arteta to make such a decision. If he does remain on the team, the Arsenal manager could name the same lineup for the fourth game running this season.

Aaron Ramsdale will start in the Arsenal goal, with the back four consisting of Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Oleksandr Zinchenko. Zinchenko keeps Tierney out of the side, but the Scotsman could be a great defensive option off the bench.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka have no reason to worry about their midfield positions, with Albert Sambi Lokonga and Mohamed Elneny providing cover from the bench. Martin Odegaard will take up the advanced role, with an array of attacking talents for support besides him.

Emile Smith Rowe will have to be content with a place on the bench, as Gabriel Martinelli has nailed down his position on the left side of the Arsenal attack. Bukayo Saka will be eager to open his account at some stage as he continues to hold his place on the right-hand side. Gabriel Jesus will continue to lead the line and hope for another star showing at the Emirates.

Predicted Arsenal XI: Ramsdale; Ben White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
