Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been offered to the three Italian giants in AC Milan, Inter and Juventus.
According to Rudy Galetti, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s intermediaries are currently at work on finding a new club for the forward. It appears a return to Serie A could be on the cards, as Inter, Juventus and his former club, AC Milan, have all been handed the opportunity to sign the Arsenal superstar in the near future.
It has been a tumultuous few weeks for Aubameyang, who was recently stripped of the Arsenal captaincy after several disciplinary breaches. The striker had apparently returned home late from a trip abroad to miss the Southampton game and was subsequently left out of the following match against West Ham.
Apart from his off-field controversies, Aubameyang’s performances on the pitch have been far from impressive. The Gabonese international has merely looked like a shadow of his former self under the leadership of Mikel Arteta.
The 32-year-old only scored ten goals in the league last season, leading to a disappointing campaign for an Arsenal side that missed out on European football for the first time after 25 years. The veteran forward hasn’t performed in the new season either, netting just four goals in 14 league matches.
Aubameyang’s struggles on and off the pitch have now led to speculations over his long-term future at the club. As such, even the Gunners are now considering offloading their star striker in the near future, with the player’s entourage offering their client to the three Italian giants, including his former team AC Milan.
Unfortunately, it appears neither of the three teams has the financial power to meet Auba’s hefty wage packet, thus ruling them out of the race. However, with a record of scoring 68 goals in just 128 Premier League matches, the former Dortmund star has no shortage of suitors.
In fact, the two Spanish giants in Barcelona and Real Madrid are among the clubs considering a move for the Arsenal forward, most likely in the summer. It could be welcome news for the Gunners, who will rely on the sale of the Gabonese international to fund moves for Arteta’s desired targets in the goalscoring department.
The North London giants have been already linked with a January swoop for Arthur Cabral, so the club is set for a massive overhaul one way or another.
