Real Madrid have reportedly been offered the chance to sign 25-year-old French forward Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, various intermediaries have offered Real Madrid the chance to sign Kingsley Coman on a cut-price deal in next summer’s transfer window. Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are also courting the 25-year-old Bayern Munich forward.
Kingsley Coman might only be 25 years old, but he is already one of the most decorated players in the history of the game. The French forward has won a league title in every single one of the seasons in senior-level club football, from Paris Saint-Germain to Bayern Munich via Juventus.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed the best spell of his career with Bayern Munich, where he has been beset by injury problems but has also showcased flashes of brilliance. To date, Coman has made 217 appearances for the Bundesliga champions, amassing 46 goals and 52 assists along the way.
However, the Bavarian giants are in a precarious position over Coman’s long-term future, as he is set to enter the final 18 months of his contract at the turn of the year. Such a situation has piqued the interest of several clubs, including Real Madrid.
According to recent reports, the Merengues are plotting a summer move for Coman. And now, various intermediaries have offered Real Madrid the chance to secure the services of the 25-year-old French forward’s services on a cut-price deal in next summer’s transfer window.
Real Madrid’s priority for the summer is to sign Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. However, with Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz facing uncertain futures at the Santiago Bernabeu, it will not be surprising to see Los Blancos entering the market for another attacker. To that end, Coman is a viable target for Real Madrid.
However, the Spanish giants face stiff competition from Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign the Bayern Munich forward. Reports have recently suggested that Coman is open to rejoining PSG, and an intense transfer battle could ensue as the 25-year-old approaches the end of his time in Bundesliga.
