Manchester United are willing to loan 19-year-old Ivorian prodigy to Feyenoord on an 18-month deal in the January transfer window.
According to Dutch outlet Feyenoord Transfermarkt, Feyenoord have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Amad Diallo. Manchester United are ready to deal with the Dutch giants over a loan deal for the 19-year-old Ivorian prodigy, who could make his way to the Netherlands on an 18-month spell.
Amad Diallo joined Manchester United from Atalanta in the January transfer window this year after the two clubs had reached an agreement over a transfer in October 2020. Since arriving at Old Trafford earlier this year, the teenage prodigy has not featured much for the first team, although he has scored a goal and provided an assist in eight games for the senior side.
As a result, it was deemed that it would be prudent to loan Diallo out in the summer transfer window. The 19-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Feyenoord, only for a hamstring injury to play spoilsport. The Dutch giants were then forced to sign Reiss Nelson from Arsenal instead.
Diallo has since recovered from the hamstring injury and has been making swift progress featuring for the Manchester United reserve side. In two Premier League 2 appearances, the Ivorian prospect has managed two goals and an assist.
With Diallo once again on track in his career, Manchester United are hoping to finally loan him out to enable him to continue on an upward trajectory while gaining valuable first-team experience. And with that, the option of making his way to Feyenoord has once again popped up.
For their part, Manchester United are open to dealing with the Dutch giants, with the 19-year-old prodigy set to be sent to Rotterdam. Diallo will join Feyenoord on an 18-month loan deal, with Manchester United eager to help the club financially.
However, Feyenoord Transfermarkt have also add that De club aan de Maas could face stiff competition from other clubs. More importantly for Feyenoord, it has been claimed that they have a great chance of snapping up Diallo from Manchester United in the January transfer window. With that in mind, it remains to be seen if Diallo leaves the Red Devils temporarily to make his way to the Netherlands this winter.
