Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Paul Pogba and are prepared to sound out a possible move next summer.

According to Fichajes, Paris Saint-Germain could reignite their interest in Paul Pogba and are prepared to make an offer with a view of signing him next summer. The Parisian club might look to sound out a possible move, hoping to agree on terms as early as January.

With the January window approaching, things could get very interesting when it comes to players who will be out of contract next summer. These stars could sign a pre-contract agreement with another club outside their current league and move away on free transfers.

Marcelo Brozovic, Franck Kessie and Denis Zakaria are some of the high profile midfielders who are set to be out of contract next summer, and another such player is Paul Pogba. All the aforementioned names are of interest to PSG, who want to sign at least one player from that list next summer.

The Parisian outfit have struggled in midfield and remain unhappy with several current stars on their payroll. Ander Herrera is one player could be set to leave next summer amid interest from Barcelona, while PSG have been somewhat disappointed with the performances of summer arrival Georginio Wijnaldum.

The report suggests both players might depart and make space for a new signing. PSG would like to sign one of the names mentioned above, although their primary objective would be to sign Pogba. The Frenchman’s future could be decided in the coming months leading up to the January transfer window, as Manchester United look to make a new contract offer.

Pogba remains linked with some of the biggest clubs in club football. Real Madrid are thought to be front-runners for his signature. Juventus are also reported to be open to bringing him back and would be delighted to sign him on a free transfer, yet again.

Now PSG are sounding out interest in bringing him back to his native France. The French giants are eager to win the UEFA Champions League but feel they are still short in midfield. After acquiring brilliant attacking talents over the years, including this summer’s acquisition of Lionel Messi, the French side wants a name of similar stature in midfield.

Pogba certainly fits the requirement of the high profile player that PSG want. At the moment, over at Manchester United, things have not been great in the wake of some recent disappointing performances. With uncertainty surrounding the corridors of Old Trafford, Pogba might seek greener pastures.

PSG are a glamorous club on current standing. Their star-studded squad would be perfect for Pogba to continue his brand of football. His arrival from Manchester United could also strengthen the side and possibly help them win the elusive Champions League crown.
